Hahs, my blog is alive..again.(: My lappie was totally infested with the virus Trojan Horse that my thumbdrive was almost useless as it's being affected too..need not say opening windows like internet explorer or msn.-.-

In this blog, there are several vids uploaded.
1) My 2nd public performance.(look at previous post)
2) Home-made piano vids.
3) Maksim vids.

2nd public performance
Part One

Part Two

Pieces are Claudine and Croatian Rhapsody respectively. Videos courtesy of Jasmine Toh(Hwahwa).=D
Next up will be my home-made vids.(:

Croatian Rhapsody by Maksim Mrvica.(:
Improvised Croatian Rhapsody by Ong Shujian.(:

Chant D'Automne by Tchaikovsky.(:
Cubana Cubana by Maksim Mrvica.(:
Cubana is a total craziness.@.@

For those who watched the video Totentanz in my 2nd March post, here's the to be cont'd part.=))

Amazonic by Maksim Mrvica.(:

The piece Amazonic is always one of my favs as it's super challenging and awesome. It's mainly made up of lots of arpeggios(in the beginning), inversed tonic triad chords(in the midst) and finally ending off with fast broken chords after changing to key of F major.

Now, about my piano auditions.. next friday will be my piano audition for Nafa. If my friend predicted correctly, i will be receiving my Lasalle audition results this sunday. *keeping fingers crossed* And, it will determine whether i'll be continuing my studies at poly.tsk.

Ohh, my Grade 7 piano exam results are out too. Even though i managed to merely pass with the score of 106, it's not what i really anticipated..thought that i would be able to get at least a merit for it. =[ Oh well, will have to work even harder for my Grade 8 exam which means higher standards will be expected from me.(:

Maksim Mrvica

Born in Sibenik, a small, but beautiful medieval town on Croatia’s Adriatic Coast, the odds seemed stacked against Maksim achieving his dream.

It wasn’t long before it became obvious to Maksim’s teachers that he had a rare talent and the boy was enrolled in Sibenik state music school.

Thereafter, Maksim won his first ever competition in 1993.

The judge stopped the competition after his performance without even considering the other contestants, and announced him as the winner at the age of 18; merely 9 years after learning piano.
