Today's post will be alittle short as i'll need to wakey early tmr to mug and read up some theory for my Nafa audition tmr.D:
Arranged a piano lessons for my friends today. My first time teaching 4 people at one go..quite tough!! But, i don't mind .. i'm pleased to pass down my music knowledge to those who are interested and are passionate.(:
Having Nafa audition tmr..competing with musicians with standard of Grade 8 and above. Gonna be prepared to be spammed with all sorts of questions after my performance.tsk. Look at the upside of the things, i've got back two of the recommendation forms from my piano teacher and poly mentor which are needed to be handed up for tmr's audition.
Piano Teacher: I have been teaching him for 2 years and he is now pursuing his Grade 8 practical. He is passionate for music as he dedicates most of his free time practising and appreciating piano. He often engrossed in practising piano until there was once he hurt himself. I found him to be highly motivated and having high spirit in learning piano. He loves trying piano pieces and take it as a challenge to perfect his skill continuously. He often tells me that he aspired to be a great musician. I found him to have the qualities to become a good performer. Given proper guidances, he will shine.
Poly Mentor: The student concerned has been very consistent with this interested in music. He has been a good student in Nanyang Polytechnic. However, his interest in music and his choice of music as a career has been made known me. With his interest and fine learning abilities, he would excel in his new chosen career. He has also exhibited his sense of responsibility and self-motivation when he could still do well in Engineering course when this is not his choice of career.
I was super touched after reading those two recommendation forms..especially the one by my piano teacher as it's very true.
- If i didn't went around searching for piano pieces, i wouldn't be so inspired after knowing Maksim.
- "there was once he hurt himself"..not only once, twice..unconsciously, look at previous post.
Alrights, this much will be enough to be classified under 'alittle short'. God bless me tmr.=]
