Today was a good day! Woke up late at around 9.30am, initially wanted to wake up at around 8plus. Nevetheless, i started my practices at 11+ and it went on till 5+ in the evening. woah! It was an awesome feeling, it's been quite some time since i've last practiced that long and with so much concentration. I covered plenty of pieces from Flight of the Bumblebee to Brahms Rhapsody in G Minor, also went through Hanon technical studies. Oh! Hanon exercise #47 was the most challenging part, i could only reach the speed of 112 per crotchet count; couldn't touch the topmost speed of 120 per crotchet count.
I will be spending another day at home tmr for practices, gotta put in more efforts and jiayou! Upcoming performance back in my high school in 12 days! woohoo, gonna be a blast performing in front of my ex-teachers and juniors. it feels so great to be able to inspire the future generations into the music career! ohhhh... :))))

[can't wait for end of this wk!]

  • i'm planning to apply for job at the Astons stall opposite my sch, if there's still no news about subway.

  • another piano lesson coming up on fri with my piano teacher. she's gonna see a big improvement this wk. cheers!

Maksim Mrvica

Born in Sibenik, a small, but beautiful medieval town on Croatia’s Adriatic Coast, the odds seemed stacked against Maksim achieving his dream.

It wasn’t long before it became obvious to Maksim’s teachers that he had a rare talent and the boy was enrolled in Sibenik state music school.

Thereafter, Maksim won his first ever competition in 1993.

The judge stopped the competition after his performance without even considering the other contestants, and announced him as the winner at the age of 18; merely 9 years after learning piano.
