World Cup 2010! I've been into some of the matches that i'm starting to lose sleeps and practices. Nevertheless, it's an event held once every 4 years so i guess it will be worth it to a certain extent.=)
So far, i feel the favourites are still the powerhouses Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Holland, Spain and England. However, after watching most of their first group matches, i'd say Germany, Argentina, Brazil and Holland didn't let my hopes down. England's first match was fine except for that outrageous blunder by Robert Green. The worse let-down out of all the powerhouses would be Spain. Having going through their qualification groupstages with straight wins, i'd high hopes in Spain winning comfortably over an unconvinced Switzerland. After weeks of anticipation and watching the whole match, i was rather shocked and surprised at how they succumbed to an outfit in Switzerland especially when they've got a team full of star players in Casillas, Puyol, Sergio Ramos, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Torres, David Villa; just naming a few. I hope England and Spain will really get their butts kicking for their second group matches!
Recently, i'm into two songs by City Harvest Church(aka: CHC); "Above All Else" and "God of my Forever". Despite all the recent criticism about CHC, i'd still no doubt agree that their worship songs jare super nice and awesome. After a little search in youtube about the song "God of my Forever", i came across this comment by LizardAndPretzelRawk:

I've always believed, and still believe, that every journey in life is created by Him. Born on the same date as Him with a lovely twin sister. Grew up with luxurious environment. Discovered piano at 2-3yrs old. Started learning piano at 5yrs old. Had his own piano ever since. Survived near-death scares. My blessings are simply too much to be countable! The first one: being born on the same date as Him..with a lovely twin sister of mine; that is more than enough.
Yes, i do have my own flaws and weaknesses which i've been exposed to countless sarcastic jokes and teases. But still, i was created by Him with those flaws and weaknesses. He wanted me to learn, learn to be strong and faithful. To have faith, undying faith in everything i do. Thus, if you know me well enough, you should be able to know that my fav word is always "faith". Do note that "faith" has the same number of letters with "trust". Be it in a relationship, friendship, kinship, one must always trust and have faith in another to make it a long-lasting one. Without either of em, one will never be able to live life to the fullest. They will be whining and complaining about the undesired things given to em. Yet, they didn't realise that all was actually given to em for they need to learn the lessons behind every obstacles. So, simply said; why don't you stop all the quarrels, all the complains, all the fights, all the unhappiness right now. Isn't it much better to have 60 secs of happiness or 60 secs of unhappiness? Every 1 min of unhappiness is equivalent to losing 60 secs of happiness.
Thus, i always had "faith" quotes such as "Faith is all you need!" and "that undying faith, is your greatest power". Even the bible says so:
