Sometimes, in life, when things are gone, they will be gone forever. Thus, it is always important to appreciate and cherish everybody around you, from your loved ones to your friends(especially those good ones).

After reading my good friend Constance's recent post in her blog, I am going to blog a little about it too. First of all, I would like to thank God for gifting me such a good friend in Constance. It has been almost a year plus now since we first knew each other through my sec 1 buddy Kenneth. It was a video uploaded in facebook by Kenneth featuring Constance playing Yiruma's "River Flows in You" on the piano, which caught my eye. I can still remember those comments I gave Constance; "try transposing the keys from A Major to D Major and then to C Major" Hahah! Yes, Constance, you are right. It is nice to trace back the video link featuring you in it.

My comment at that time was "it's River Flows In You. try transposing it from A maj-D maj-C maj. try some figurations luh and transpositions." Ahaha! Looking back at it, I find it rather amusing that I used the word "transpose" instead of the word "modulate". "Transposing" applies when you want to change the key of the entire piece.(For eg: A Major -> D Major) "Modulating" applies only when you want to progress the original piece's key to another key.(For eg: A Major -> D Major -> C Major)

That video sure does bring back some memories, don't you agree, Constance? I could and would never be able to imagine myself without good friends like you, Constance. Thanks a million(if a million is enough, though)! Remember to have faith alrightty! Here's my favourite quote: "Have faith, for faith is all you need!" May God bless you in every day, always! ((:

Ps: It was on the 13th of march '09 that I first knew you. cheers!

Born in Sibenik, a small, but beautiful medieval town on Croatia’s Adriatic Coast, the odds seemed stacked against Maksim achieving his dream.

It wasn’t long before it became obvious to Maksim’s teachers that he had a rare talent and the boy was enrolled in Sibenik state music school.

Thereafter, Maksim won his first ever competition in 1993.

The judge stopped the competition after his performance without even considering the other contestants, and announced him as the winner at the age of 18; merely 9 years after learning piano.
